Crystal Taylor-Dietz, Psy.D.
Crystal Taylor-Dietz, Psy.D., is a licensed psychologist in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She also is an assistant clinical professor of clinical psychology at The George Washington University Professional Psychology Program. She completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at Chestnut Hill College and went on to complete her pre-doctoral internship at the Center for Multicultural Training in Psychology at Boston Medical Center and a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at The George Washington University Professional Psychology Program. Dr. Taylor-Dietz previously served as a psychologist in Saint Luke Institute’s residential program. She has a psychodynamic and family systems background, with years of experience working in community mental health and multidisciplinary settings, domestically and abroad. She has a passion for issues related to multicultural diversity, the intersection of spirituality and psychology, social justice and the promotion of wellness.
Margaret M. Pakulski, M.A., LCSW-C
Margaret M. Pakulski, M.A., LCSW-C, is an individual and group therapist with Caritas Counseling Center. She earned her MSW at The Catholic University of America and has extensive training from the Washington School of Psychiatry in adult psychodynamic psychotherapy and group psychotherapy. Prior to coming to Caritas Counseling Center, she was a therapist in the residential program at Saint Luke Institute. Her background includes training in family therapy and spiritual direction. She is also a trained and experienced EMDR therapist.
Maja K. Triantafilou, M.A., LCPC
Maja K. Triantafilou, MA, LCPC, is the senior outpatient therapist in our Towson-Baltimore office, a licensed clinical professional counselor, and an approved supervisor for clinical counseling in Maryland. She earned her master’s degree from Towson University. Maja has extensive training from Sheppard Pratt in behavioral management, crisis intervention and psychotherapy. She has worked with at-risk youth and adults in community-based psychiatric, school and correctional programs. Through her work with Glass Mental Health Programs as an in-school counselor, she collaborated with Department of Juvenile Services and Maryland State Department of Education before joining Caritas Counseling Center.
Monsignor Michael Schleupner
Monsignor Michael Schleupner, a priest of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, is joining Caritas Counseling Center’s Towson office, where he will provide spiritual integration for clients, working closely with the therapists. He also will offer spiritual direction. He has served many years as a pastor and as archdiocesan chancellor and director of finances. Ordained in 1972, he later earned a master’s degree in church administration from The Catholic University of America in Washington and a licentiate in canon law.
Denise Donaldson, LCSW-C
Denise is a clinical social worker and an approved LCSW-C clinical supervisor in Maryland. She earned a bachelor’s degree in social work at Rutgers University and graduated with her master’s degree in 1998 from Fordham University in New York City. Denise has extensive experience working with a variety of mental and behavioral health issues, coming to Caritas most recently from the Sheppard Pratt Adult Day Hospital. She has worked in hospitals, residential treatment, foster care, cancer treatment centers, community mental health centers, schools, addictions treatment and in private practice for 21 years. Denise engages in an integrative approach using evidence-based psychotherapy practices that include mindfulness, CBT, DBT, ACT and psychodynamic approaches.
