

Maja Triantafilou, LCPC, is a Senior Therapist and Coordinator in our Caritas office in Lutherville, MD. She holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling and has extensive experience in behavioral management, crisis intervention, and psychotherapy. Previously, Maja worked with at-risk youth and adults in community-based psychiatric schools and correctional programs.
Maja sees her role as a therapist is to help clients navigate a world that often feels unsafe, thereby opening them up to the possibility of healing. She utilizes multiple treatment modalities with her clients to include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy-informed, psychodynamic, psychoeducation, and others.
Maja provides individual and group therapy, conducts psychosocial assessments, and collaborates with our clinical and spiritual integration team. Of her work at SLI she commented, “In my five-year experience working with priests, seminarians, and men and women religious, I have continuously witnessed how faith plays an integral role in the healing process. This further deepens my desire to work for a faith-based professional agency that takes a holistic approach with clients for them to become healthy, integrated, and well-functioning people.”
