New Aging and Memory Evaluation

Over 47.5 million adults suffer from declines in memory and thinking. While many people may assume cognitive decline in older adults is due to dementia, there are a number of possible causes: psychological, neurological and physical.

A comprehensive evaluation is an important step for diagnosis and determining the appropriate treatment.

Saint Luke Institute’s new Aging and Memory Evaluation is a three-week evaluation at our main center in Silver Spring, Maryland. The assessment includes neurological, neuropsychological, medical and psychiatric assessments and consultation, skill-building and spiritual integration. Participants have access to 24-hour nursing and a social worker to assist with discharge planning.
