SLI Clinician to Serve on Archdiocese of Washington Mental Health Advisory Committee
Posted on: May 17, 2025
Stephen Carroll, , Ph.D., LCPC, Director of Education and Aftercare for Saint Luke Institute, has been invited by leaders in the Archdiocese of Washington to serve on the archdiocese’s Mental Health Advisory Committee.
The invitiation follows on his presentation about the mission and services of SLI at the Archdiocese of Washington’s Second Annual Mental Health Summit on May 15, 2025. The archdiocesan event, hosted by the Office of Deaf and Disabilities Ministry of the archdiocese, featured presentations, networking and resource sharing among mental health community leaders and organizations throughout the Greater Washington, DC-area.
SLI participated in the 2024 inaugural event as well. The invitation to Dr. Carroll to serve on the archdiocese’s Advisory Committee highlights SLI’s resourcing and partnership with the home diocese of our main Silver Spring office, offering mental health and wellness care for clergy, religious, and others who serve the Church locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
