Clergy and religious clients typically are referred by their arch/diocese or religious community. If you feel you would benefit from our programs, we encourage you to talk with your superior or vicar. Others may contact us using our online form or call us at 301-445-7970.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program, outpatient services, spiritual direction services, online learning platform SLIconnect.org, and other educational offerings are primiarly of service to Catholic clergy, seminarians, men and women religious and lay leaders. We also gladly welcome clergy, religious, lay people and ministers or leaders of other Christian communities, or of other faiths. Our licensed clinicians and spiritual integrators can address common mental health needs across many faith traditions.
Individuals come to us for many reasons for mental health and spiritual care and support. The following are some of the most common:

Genuine recovery in mental health can is an ongoing process, with the highest rate of relapse occurring during the first year after treatment. Our Continuing Care Program provides structured support to assist a person throughout this important time period. Near the completion of the Intensive Outpatient Program, a client is assigned a Continuing Care liaison who works with him or her and his/her superior and residential care team to facilitate a successful transition to regular day-to-day life and ministry through the first five years of recovery.
Yes. We offer candidate assessments nationwide for seminarians, deacon candidates, religious community candidates, and for canonical incardinations. These assessments are completed by a multi-person interdisciplinary team. Candidate and vocation director will both receive detailed verbal and written feedback to help with the discernment process. Assessments are available in our Louisville, Kentucky and Silver Spring, Maryland locations.

We have had ministers of other Christian communities or another faith for clinical evaluation, intensive outpatient care, outpatient treatment or spiritual direction. Our experts can provide mental health and spiritual care that respects other Christian traditions and those of different faiths.
