LukeNotes: Stilling the Storm – Calming the Anxious Soul

Posted on: October 17, 2024

Our October 2024 edition of LukeNotes, concludes a year-long focus on anxiety and its impacts. For this third issue, Joseph Grant, M.Div., a former member of the spiritual integration team at Saint Luke Center in Louisville, who currently serves as Director of Holy Hills Hermitage in rural Kentucky, discusses how to develop a spiritual disposition for responding to anxiety without the concerns of our society, our world, or ourselves, overwhelming us. He also presents a case study about how Deacon Mike* was assisted, through integrated spiritual care at Saint Luke Institute, in addressing chronic anxiety fueled by polarizing social media and cultural influences.
