In Memoriam: Sister Kathleen Keller, SNJM (1946-2026)
The staff of Saint Luke Institute (SLI) offer our heartfelt prayers and condolences to the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, as well as to other loved ones and friends who mourn the recent passing of Sister Kathleen (Veronica Therese) Keller, SNJM, who entered into eternal life on June 25, 2026. She was 80 years old and a professed religious sister for 59 years.
Sr. Keller was a massage therapist at SLI for many years. Speaking of her sister in community and SLI colleague, Sr. Pat Parachini, SNJM, a member of the spirituality and pastoral care team at SLI, said, “Sr. Kathleen was a close friend, a committed Sister of the Holy Names and engaged wholeheartedly in her ministry. She viewed her massage therapy as integral to the healing ministry of SLI. She would often offer insights to the clinical team that helped in the healing process. She was highly regarded by staff and clients alike.”
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at St. Michael’s Parish in Silver Spring, Maryland, where she was a long-time and beloved parishioner.
Her burial will take place at a later date.
May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
