Elizabeth Lane Brown, RN
Board Member
I have been a board member at Saint Luke Institute since 2018. For 40 years, I served as Charge Nurse at Sibley Memorial Hospital. I have been a member of the John Carroll Society (JCS) of Washington, DC since the 1970s, and served a five-year term as a board member of JCS. I currently serve on the JCS Leadership Committee and was awarded the Volunteer Health Care Service Award for my nursing practice.
My personal commitment to the mission of SLI stems from my desire for men and women religious to have a compassionate place of healing in a caring, professional environment. I support their goal of eventually being able to return to the ministry to which they were called to serve.
I am a lifelong Washingtonian. I enjoy spending time with my daughter, Sarah, and my large, supportive family.
