LukeNotes: Anxiety and Perfectionism
July 17, 2024 – Our July 2024 edition of LukeNotes, continues a year-long focus on anxiety and its impacts. For this third issue, A. Mechelle Haywood, Psy.D. from Saint Luke Institute discusses how managing perfectionism can help it to be experienced as a positive and adaptive part of one’s personality rather than a negative, anxiety-causing experience. She also presents a case study about how Sister Marnie and Father Tipton* experience new possibilities related to their perfectionist-related anxiety during a support group meeting.
