Sister Salvatrice Murphy, D.C. is a licensed clinical social worker and board approved clinical supervisor with 20+ years of experience in the areas of family systems, trauma, parish-based services, and organizational wellness. She earned her BA and MSW from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, and holds active clinical licenses in DC, Maryland, Illinois, and Missouri. In 2009 she became a member of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul and currently serves on their leadership Council for the Province of St. Louise.  She is certified in Critical Incident Stress Management through the University of Maryland and the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.  She has presented multiple trainings and workshops on trauma-informed care, nonviolent discipline, and crisis intervention. 

Sister Salvatrice believes deeply that God can make good come from any circumstance and has a passion for encouraging people on their journeys toward post-traumatic growth.  She has experience on several boards and enjoys working with governance teams to promote organizational wellness and mission fidelity. She has been a member of the Saint Luke Institute’s Board of Directors since 2023 and currently serves as Board Chair.
