Terrence O’Donnell is Senior Counsel at the law firm of Williams & Connolly LLP. He is a 1966 Graduate of the Unites States Air Force Academy and aa 1971 graduate of Georgetown Law School. He served as a Counterintelligence Officer in Vietnam in 1969-70 and was awarded the Bronze Star. He then served as Special Assistant in the White House for Presidents Nixon and Ford and was President Ford’s Personal Assistant and Schedule Secretary. For many years he was a partner at Williams & Connolly. In 1989 he was appointed by President George H.W. Bush and confirmed by the Senate as General Counsel of the Department of Defense and was awarded by Secretary Cheney with the Distinguished Public Service Medal, and by the Attorney General with the Law Enforcement Medal. He was General Counsel of Textron Inc. for 12 years and has served on the boards of many public companies and non-profit organizations. Just recently he was awarded the Air Force Academy Distinguished Graduate Award. He is married and has three children and 12 grandchildren, and is a member of the Knights of Malta.
Terry has served on the Board of the Saint Luke institute and the Saint Luke Foundation for 10 years. In his own words, “I believe deeply in the mission of the Sait Luke Institute and am honored to work with the very talented and dedicated leadership and staff of the Institute to advance that mission.”
