Building Contemplative Life from the Bottom Up: Virtual Presentation Series
Contemplative communities are struggling to initiate new members due to the diversity in ages, education, life experiences, differing experiences of converts, how members view Catholic Tradition, as well as increasing racial and ethnic diversity. Communities may feel overwhelmed and under siege. These challenges are, at the very same time, necessary for a community to choose life into the future. These crucial needs may invite a critical moment of refounding. Over three sessions on our online learning platform, SLIconnect.org, Marist Brother Don Bisson, D.Min., will:
- Articulate the situation and options
- Discuss creative solutions for formation, and
- Learn how we can see this as a moment of grace for transformation.
The dates of the live presentations are October 9, November 6, and December 4, 2025 all at 1 pm ET. Recordings will be available on-demand after the live events for all registrants.
Registeration cost for all three sessions is $50.
