Individual Outpatient Care

Regular individual psychotherapy sessions with a licensed therapist address both short-term needs and more complex struggles. Individual therapy begins with an initial interview to review and assess the client’s concerns. At the conclusion of the evaluative interview, a treatment plan is developed that assists the client in defining and achieving their goals. Clients may be referred for comprehensive evaluations, ancillary and/or more intensive treatment services if necessary.

Individual outpatient therapy is available primarily in-person at our Silver Spring and Greater Baltimore, Maryland, locations, as well as in our Louisville, Kentucky and Manchester, United Kingdom locations. In certain circumstances in the US, outpatient therapy can be offered online. Please contact us to discuss this option in detail.

Group therapy

Group Outpatient Care

Group therapy with other clients, facilitated by a therapist, provides a supportive environment for making change. This safe environment in which a person is allowed and encouraged to be their authentic self can be a potent venue for change, growth, and healing. It provides a valuable opportunity to hear and incorporate objective feedback about how they are perceived, and to learn healthier and more optimal ways of relating.

Separate groups are available for:

  • Women religious
  • Ordained priests, seminarians and men from religious communities

Group outpatient therapies are available in-person at our Silver Spring, Maryland location, and online at different times of the year, for a period of several weeks, and based on interest and number of clients.

We are open to providing group therapy for other demographics as well. For more details about these offerings or to inquire further, please contact us.
