Christopher G. Block, Ph.D., LPP

Christopher G. Block, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychological Practitioner in Kentucky and obtained his doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville. He also completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University. Prior to joining the Saint Luke Center in Louisville in 2014, Chris was a 24-year veteran of the Kentucky Department of Corrections, where he retired from his position as Director of the Sex Offender Risk Assessment Unit within the Division of Mental Health. During his tenure with the DOC, he also served as the Department’s Program Administrator for residential and community-based drug and alcohol treatment services, and worked as a therapist in the Sex Offender Treatment Program. Chris’ clinical interests include cognitive-behavioral intervention for emotional disorders and risk assessment.
