Rev. Thomas Esselman, C.M., Ph.D.

Rev. Thomas Esselman, C.M., Ph.D. is a priest of the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentians) Western Province.  He was ordained in 1980.  For over forty years he has served as a seminary formator and theology professor, in various seminaries in the United States and Kenya.  His specialties include systematic theology, Vincentian spirituality and heritage, spiritual direction, and the writings of Pope Francis.  Currently he serves as a spiritual director for the diocesan priests, permanent deacons, and religious of a nearby diocese. He also offers retreats and ongoing formation for various branches of the Vincentian Family. He lives in Saint Louis, Missouri.
