Healthy Ministry & Wellness as an Aging Vocation

Deacons face diverse pastoral challenges and engage in highly stressful and unpredictable ministry. This workshop for the Archdiocese of Washington deacons and their wives will provide overview of the warning signs of burnout and vicarious trauma that often in arise in parish ministry. Strategies will be presented on implementing healthy boundaries for self-care and de-escalation techniques for vicarious trauma.
