Memorial Mass for Fr. Ken Phillips, TOR, MS

We continue to give thanks to God for the life and ministry of our dearly beloved Fr. Ken Phillips, TOR, MS, whose faithful service touched the hearts and souls of so many throughout his many years of priestly ministry, especially at Saint Luke Institute where he was a member of the staff for over 40 years.

In gratitude for Fr. Ken’s life and witness, Saint Luke Institute, where Ken served, and the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America, where Ken lived, will host a Memorial Mass on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 3 p.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel on the grounds of the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America, 1400 Quincy Street, N.E., Washington, DC 20017. The Monastery has ample free parking in the visitor lot across the street from the main gate. A small reception with light refreshments will follow the Mass.

The Mass will also be livestreamed so that family and friends across the United States and throughout the world may join us. Please share this news so that all who were touched by his life and ministry may have the opportunity to be present in-person or online for this special celebration.

RSVPs for *in-person attendees* are encouraged to account for total numbers / food preparation. Please respond by February 2, 2026 by email to Roseann Powell at roseannp@sli.org.

Please continue to keep Fr. Ken, his family, friends, colleagues, and his TOR community in your prayers.
