We conduct a five-day comprehensive psychological and spiritual evaluation resulting in an in-depth diagnosis and actionable treatment plan for growth and healing.

Candidate Assessment
We evaluate permanent diaconate, priesthood, and religious life candidates for vocational suitability during an in-depth, multi-day spiritual and psychological assessment.
Clergy & Religious Health Monitor
The SLI Clergy & Religious Health Monitor provides an overview of the mental and spiritual health of the clergy and men and women religious within a diocese or religious institute. It is an opportunity for Church leaders to understand organizational strengths and challenges and can serve as a starting point for meaningful dialogue on healthy life and ministry.

Our confidential consultation services cover a variety of personnel, behavioral, or organizational needs to foster greater organizational functioning and healthy ministry. Rev. Michael Ritter, M.Div., M.S.
Fr. Mike is a priest of the Diocese of Sacramento who is working at Saint Luke Center as a pre-doctoral intern while completing doctoral studies in psychology at California Southern University. Fr. Mike held number of pastoral assignments in the Diocese of Sacramento prior to joining the team at Saint Luke Center. His experience in parish and campus ministries motivated his decision to pursue clinical training.
Spiritual Direction
While integrated spiritual care is part of our therapeutic services, those who serve the Saint Luke Institute team as spiritual integrators are also able to provide independent spiritual direction as well.
Spiritual direction helps clients integrate psychological and emotional growth into their own spiritual development. It is offered at our Silver Spring, Maryland, locations, as well as at Saint Luke Center in Louisville, Kentucky, as well as online, for a modest hourly fee.
