Saint Luke Center, a ministry of Saint Luke Institute, located in Louisville, Kentucky, provides multidisciplinary spiritual and psychological assessment to candidates for ordained ministry and religious life in the Church. These assessments offer a practical roadmap for leadership to help guide and deepen the candidate’s vocational journey and address recovery and healing from a variety of mental health challenges. We also help ministers and others in the Church move towards recovery and healing from a variety of mental health challenges in an integrated way which fosters care of the person as a whole.

Our services include:

Candidate assessments for men and women discerning a call to priesthood, religious life, and the permanent diaconate, as well as those seeking incardination into arch/diocesan or religious life
Individual and group outpatient therapy to address both short-term needs and more complex issues
One-on-one integrated spiritual care to support ongoing spiritual development

We also participate in the larger work of Saint Luke Institute of education for healthy life and ministry.

Saint Luke Center is in Louisville, Kentucky, and is easily accessible from Interstate 64 and I-264 and is only 15 minutes from Louisville International Airport (SDF).

Privacy

We value your privacy. Our therapists follow the strictest confidentiality principles set forth by Kentucky and federal law. We will discuss confidentiality with you on your first visit.

Cost

We are committed to providing excellent care at a reasonable cost. We will submit insurance claims for clients who have out-of-network benefits with their insurance. No clergy or religious is denied admission or service based on an inability to pay.
